Personal struggle and growth
This year was not without its challenges. The personal struggles encountered during this period fueled much of the creative output, resulting in pieces that are deeply personal and reflective. I ended up getting diagnosed with a crippling autoimmune disorder that took over my life. I had no energy left.

In 2024, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a national convention for Domestic Violence Awareness as a speaker! I stood in front of 10,000 women and spoke about my story, my advocacy, my defeats, and my triumphs. This was a crucial life altering experience; the connection and emotion flooded the creative gates and made my work build so much meaning.
My pallettes became central to my work during this time. I focused on vibrant yellows, neon reds, and pastel blues. It highlighted personal strengths while simplyifing hard truths.
I got inducted as a junior member into the elite honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. You must sustain above a 3.7 GPA in order to be a member. This was a great accomplishment for me! Also I'm in the back so you can't really see me.
